We were super excited to be able to take Vanessa's bridal portraits at the Meyerson. It's such a beautiful and unique place for bridals and we had a great time with Vanessa and her mom!

The Knot Best of Weddings 2010!
We recently found out that we were voted as one of the The Knot's 2010 Best of Weddings! Thank you to everyone who voted for us! We're listed in the Spring/Summer 2010 issue of The Knot: Texas, which is in stores now. It's such an honor because it's based on surveys where brides & grooms vote on their favorite local wedding professionals, and we're so excited to have been chosen. Thank you!!!

Vanessa + Tanner | wedding
Vanessa and Tanner's wedding was at the very awesome and unique Hickory Street Annex. The weather report threatened rain all day, but the rain held off until the reception was underway. Yay! Vanessa and Tanner are all smiles when they're together; you can tell they're perfect for each other and very happy together. They even took some time during the reception to have a few moments to themselves. Darek was a big fan of Tanner's music choices, especially the instrumental Radiohead. Meredith Commender of Significant Events of Texas did a wonderful job with all of the coordination, and everything went perfectly. It was a beautiful day!

Laura + Alex | wedding
Laura and Alex are friends of Amy and Blake, whose wedding we did almost exactly a year ago. Laura's sister had actually been a bridesmaid and recommended us, which is always a wonderful compliment! Laura and Alex had a gorgeous wedding last weekend - even the weather was perfect. They had a beautiful ceremony at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Grapevine and an action-packed, fun filled reception at the Timarron Country Club. The families were excited to celebrate the coming together of Czech and Brazilian cultures, and observed several of the wedding traditions, which we found really interesting!
The flowers were just beautiful:
Laura carried her Great-Grandmother's rosary in her bouquet:
The flowergirl watching Laura's dress getting laced up:
Our fabulous assistant Heather captured this shot of Laura getting ready to go out for the ceremony:
Post-ceremony hugs:
Checking out the rings:
Some portraits at the church:
They did a wonderful job with the details at Timarron Country Club; everything looked absolutely amazing:
The rosemary was part of a Czech tradition, so we thought it would be a good place for the rings:
They did a Grand March which led into their First Dance, where they danced surrounded by their families and friends (tricky to photograph, but a very cool thing to do!):
Parent dances:
The winners of the Anniversary Dance:
Laura's Grandparents have been married over 60 years - now that's impressive:
For the Last Dance, everyone formed a circle around Laura and Alex, and then they went around and said their goodbyes:
Laura and Alex, congratulations! We hope you've been having a wonderful time in Bora Bora!

Halloween!
For something a little different, I give you Halloween! We went to a friend's party and Heather (our fabulous assistant) and I decided it would be fun to set up a "photobooth" type thing to document peoples' costumes. It was a ton of fun and I think we got some cool pictures. Here are just a few of my many favorites:

Kori + Mitch | wedding
Kori and Mitch had beautiful weather, and a beautiful wedding to match. They were married at the First United Methodist Church in Mansfield, which is a special place for Kori. It's also a great church to shoot at - they understand the importance of having good wedding photos - and it's beautiful as well. The reception was at Victory Arts Center in Fort Worth, which is one of the coolest wedding venues we've ever been to. Take all that and add a wonderful, sweet, very in-love couple surrounded by great family and friends, and some fabulous details, and it was the perfect day!
Kori's mom helping with the dress:
Cute flowergirl:
Darek got to hear some interesting paramedic stories; a little different than the usual groomsmen pre-ceremony talk. I think this picture is funny because it looks like Mitch is giving a lecture:
Darek had a great vantage point for the ceremony and caught some wonderful emotion:
The light was beautiful when we arrived at Victory Arts Center, so of course we had to take advantage of it:
The details were wonderful:
Kori and Mitch had personalized caramel apples as favors - I thought this was such a cool and unique idea!
First dance:
We snuck out for a few cool night pictures:
One of the adorable ringbearers:
We caught Mitch's mom doing the Thriller dance:
I think this picture is funny; there's a lot going on:
They were sent off by super-extra-long sparklers!
Kori wanted a shot of the 4 bridesmaids spelling Love with sparklers, so we had a lot of fun getting this one. The "E" was definitely the hardest letter!
Kori and Mitch, congratulations! It was wonderful to be able to work with you guys!

Zack | senior
We did Zack's senior pictures around the Filter House at White Rock Lake, which was awesome! I'd never been over there before, but it's a really cool area. Zack wasn't crazy about having his pictures taken (like most guys in high school) but he was a good sport for us. Here are some of my favorites -

Mickey
Mickey's mom has a large print of his sister when she was younger, and wanted to have one of Mickey to match, so we journeyed down to the Arboretum to take some pictures. His sister Gracie got in for a few shots too. These kids are just adorable - super sweet and friendly, and very excited to take photos. We had a lot of fun!
This one probably won't make the big wall portrait, but I thought it was a cute picture of him playing around:
This one makes me laugh - you can just tell he's thinking "Come on; no pictures now - I just want to throw rocks!"
The big reward for taking pictures was getting to visit the pumpkin patch and house at the end:
And this last one was Mickey's suggestion; he wanted me to take a picture of this thing, and I thought it turned out pretty well! Good eye, Mickey!

Kristen + Peter | wedding
Fun fact: Kristen found us through Stacey (whose wedding we did this summer) who found us through her friend Kristen (whose wedding we did last summer). And to make it even more fun, my official legal name is Stacey Kristen. Awesome!
We always love when former clients pass along our names to their friends; not only does it mean people are happy with their wedding photographs and with how we did our job, but it usually instills a level of trust that is really nice to have. We only met Kristen and Peter about 2 months before their wedding, and we knew instantly that they would be awesome to work with. Kristen and Peter had a beautiful, intimate wedding at San Martino Winery in Rockwall surrounded by family and close friends. The weather was absolutely perfect, everything seemed to go smoothly, the day was full of smiles, and the party was full of fun!
Love love LOVE Kristen's dress. It was originally strapless, but she wanted something more "classic and timeless" so she had them take some of the extra fabric from the bottom and use it to make the cap sleeves. I think it's perfect:
Love the harpist:
They chose to have a close friend officiate the ceremony, which always makes it more personal:
Greeting guests after the ceremony:
The flowergirl, as the gum was trying to be removed:
The vineyard behind the winery made a perfect backdrop for pictures:
Aww...
Some details around the winery:
A friend made the cake, and it was beautiful:
The arm-link-toasting-thing is always harder than it looks:
Some night-portrait fun:
First dance:
The flowergirl was on the dance floor ALL NIGHT. Literally. I've never seen a flowergirl stay on the dance floor that long!
The ringbearer getting a little sleepy:
The dolls made random appearances throughout the evening - too funny:
A hug from dad:
The last dance of the night:
Kristen & Peter, thank you so much for choosing us to capture your day! Everything was just beautiful!

Shannon + Toby | wedding
Shannon found us through Blaine and Wade, whose wedding we did last September. We got to make a trip down to New Braunfels to document Shannon & Toby's big day. Shannon did a wonderful job keeping me posted with all the details in the months leading up to the wedding, so even though we never met until the rehearsal, I had a pretty good feeling for their personalities and what they liked. They had some really fun touches in their wedding (like feathers!) and everyone seemed to have a blast!
The wedding was at the Faith Lutheran Church in Seguin, and we got to hang the dress up in front of the cool windows:
Shannon and her mom share a moment:
She asked for a show of hands to see how many people knew what Toby's gift to her was:
I think she was pleased:
It was a custom-made saddle with her new name on it:
The super cute flowergirl:
Finishing touches:
Toby's prep is a little simpler:
Writing a note to Shannon:
The flowergirl didn't want to go down the aisle, but then turned and ran; I think she remembered the M&Ms she was promised:
Shannon's mom watched Toby's face as Shannon came down the aisle:
The flowergirl got bored:
Woo hoo!
Enjoying a moment after the ceremony:
Reception details at the New Braunfels Civic Center:
Dancing:
Singing "Family Tradition" at the end of the night:
Shannon had a cool idea for their exit - everyone threw popcorn! Much less painful than birdseed. :D
Shannon & Toby, thanks so much for bringing us to New Braufels to photograph your wedding!

Jaime + Mike | wedding (part 2)
Jaime and Mike got married in just about the coolest place ever - Sodo Park in downtown Seattle. It was just perfect for their wedding, and all of their details and personal touches make it even more amazing. Everything seemed to go smoothly, and they threw a great party! We just loved being a part of their wedding day, and we're so glad they had us come all the way up to Seattle to capture it!
All of the details were wonderful:
An overall of the ceremony:
We took advantage of the light to get a few more pictures outside immediately after the ceremony:
Some of the amazing reception details:
They used one of their engagement pictures for the back of their program:
First dance:
We snuck off for a few night portraits while the guests were eating dinner:
The toasts were great:
The party was tons of fun; they had the most awesome DJ and he kept the dance floor full all night:
Jaime & Mike, congratulations! We can't even tell you how thrilled we were to be able to capture your day!

Jaime + Mike | wedding (part 1)
Wow! I'm not really sure where to begin with this wedding - there was just so much awesomeness. For starters, it was in Seattle!! We've been super excited for Jaime & Mike's wedding for a long time, especially after we got to meet them back in March where we found out how cool they are, and got to take their engagement pictures around Seattle. The weather that day was rainy and cold, but they had the complete opposite weather for their wedding day - sunny, warm, and absolutely beautiful.
Jaime and Mike put a high priority on photography, and scheduled plenty of time to make sure we got tons of great pictures. We literally spent the whole day with them. They had a First Look on the roof of the hotel where everybody got ready, and from there we all got into a huge Hummer limo and drove around downtown Seattle to take lots of cool pictures with the wedding party. The day was just perfect - relaxed, happy, fun, and full of fabulous details. We ended up with so many awesome pictures that there are too many for one blog post! Today we'll be sharing the "getting ready" and bridal party pictures, and we'll be back soon with the pictures from the ceremony and reception. Jaime & Mike, we hope you're having the best time in Italy!
Jaime's dress was perfect:
The bouquets:
Jaime and her mom:
The flowergirl was just way too cute:
Watching Jaime getting her hair done:
Full coverage!
Jaime gets her turn in the make-up chair:
Jaime's sister's turn:
This picture makes me laugh; I feel the exact same way about pantyhose!
Mike getting ready:
They wrote letters to each other and read them before seeing each other:
Mike wrote Jaime's new last name on her card:
There's a moment when the veil goes on, and everything suddenly comes together, and this is that moment:
Time for flowers:
They had their very sweet First Look on the roof of the hotel with Seattle in the background:
We started off at Kerry Park for some "formal" shots with the Seattle skyline in the background:
Then it was off to Pioneer Square for more fun shots:
And then it was on to the venue where the wedding took place, Sodo Park:
Check back soon for the rest of the wedding pictures! Lots more to come!

Out of the office!
We just wanted to let everyone know that we'll be out of the office from Friday, September 18 through Saturday, September 26. Our email and phone access will be somewhat limited during this time, especially for the first 4 days, so please understand if it takes us a little longer to get back to you than usual!
Shelby + Evan | wedding
Darek has actually known Shelby since middle school, and we were so excited when she chose us to shoot her wedding! We didn't get to meet Evan until the day of the wedding, but it was easy to see that he was a great guy. They recently moved to DC (in the midst of planning a wedding!) which I think is just awesome. Their wedding was a great day full of lots of laughter and fun; they and their friends definitely know how to have a good time!
The church had a "historic chapel" that was the perfect place to hang the dress:
Putting on some finishing touches:
With help from Mom:
Shelby and her sister definitely win for "most fun putting on a garter:"

Darek even braved the rain for this shot:
Evan's Grandfather performed the ceremony:
A moment after the ceremony:
The reception was at the Pecan Plantation Club House with an Autumn theme (which I love, as I'm from the Northeast!):
We had lots of fun shooting the beautiful rings:
A round of something pink:
First dance:
The flower girl was adorable:
We snagged them for a couple of "alone" pictures as the night went on:
Sharing the last dance together:
They originally planned for sparklers, but went for bubbles because of the burn ban (which was ironic because it rained ALL DAY!):
Shelby and Evan, we hope you're having fun in the Dominican Republic! Congratulations!

Nasreen + Brandon | wedding
Nasreen first contacted us about shooting her wedding less than two months ago, but we're so glad we had the date open on our calendar because she and Brandon were both so wonderful to work with! Brandon is a super nice guy, and Nasreen is really sweet, and they seem like they're perfect for each other. We had a great day documenting their wedding and hanging out with them! They were married at First United Methodist Church of Grand Prairie with a reception at Grand Oaks Golf Club on a not-too-hot and completely windless day.
The clasp was missing on the dress, so it had to get sewn on:
Those veils can be painful on the way in:
Brandon's reaction to Nasreen walking down the aisle was awesome:

Vanessa + Tanner | engagement
Vanessa and Tanner wanted to go to locations that had meaning to them for their engagement session, so the pictures would be extra special. We started off in Addison Circle, where they live, and then headed downtown where Vanessa has memories of hanging out near where her dad worked. We had fun getting to know them and we're looking forward to their wedding!

Laura + Alex | engagement
We all battled Friday evening traffic to get to the Fort Worth Botanic Gardens for Laura and Alex's engagement session - and we won! We even managed to get the fee waived because they had already put all the permit stuff away for the evening - so, Double Win! We're really excited for Laura and Alex's wedding in November; we can tell it's going to be awesome.

Shelby | bridal
Shelby is totally cool. When our first attempt at her bridal session got rained out, she was completely calm and laid-back, even though she's moving to DC in about a week! She and Darek actually went to high school together, and we were happy when she chose us to shoot her wedding. It's coming up in September and we can't wait! She gave us permission to go ahead and post these, and we're glad to be able to share them.
And here's a random one that just makes me laugh - doesn't Darek look sad all alone in the canals?

Our Wedding
Today you get to see something that doesn't usually make the blog - pictures of us! Today is our seven-year anniversary, though it hardly seems like it's been that long! So here are a few photos from our own wedding, seven years ago today, in a little chapel in Connecticut.
The chapel:
Vows or rings or something:
This is my most favorite of all our wedding pictures - taken during our very impromptu "first dance":

I decided I wanted to do some extra shooting awhile back and my friend Rozie graciously agreed. We headed up to downtown McKinney, a place I've been wanting to shoot at for a long time. My fabulous assistant Heather (who several of you have met) came along as well and we had a great little session.
Here's Heather, looking super helpful as always!

Anne + AJ | wedding
Anne and AJ are so sweet together; they seem to have a constant conversation going between them. They were married in their church where AJ proposed - Crossroads Bible Church - so it was extra extra special and meaningful. The day was laid-back and fun, and we've really enjoyed being able to take all their pictures. Anne and AJ are super-thoughtful too; both went out of their way to thank us, and we told them they were awesome as well.
Shoes and flowers:
I'm always fascinated with the amount of make-up the make-up artists bring:
Anne is actually the wedding coordinator at the church, so she was a pro at putting her dad's flower on:
The guys played video games:
Praying before the ceremony:
AJ gave the guys sunglasses:
Some ceremony details:
This was taken about 5 feet away from the exact spot AJ proposed:
Some reception details from the DFW Marriott North:
The cakes. We don't usually eat the cake at weddings, but when they told us at their engagement session that the groom's cake would be peanut butter chocolate, we knew we'd have to try it - and it was amazing:
The rings:
First dance:
Some reception fun:
There was a fight for the bouquet:
Saying good-byes at the end of the night:
Anne and AJ's last dance:
Anne and AJ, congratulations - we wish you all the best!

Anne | bridal
We did Anne's bridals down at the canals and had a great time with her and her mom and sister. We had lots of fun with her long veil - I think it's the first time I was happy to have a little wind. Now that the wedding has happened, we finally get to share them! Be sure to check back soon for wedding pictures!

Charlotte + Kenny | wedding
Charlotte and Kenny are absolutely perfect for each other. They're both sweet, spontaneous, and totally funny. We can tell they have lots of fun together and make each other laugh. We were totally psyched to be able to do their wedding! They wanted it to be an awesome, fun party, and it was. The wedding was at Skyline Ranch, which had fun touches like an ice sculpture and carriage rides.
I've discovered that Charlotte and I have similar opinions on a lot of things - make-up, texting, when we like to pay for stuff. I really enjoyed spending the day with her and the girls. I got to meet up with them at Heath Hair & Day Spa and take pictures of everyone getting their hair and make-up done. It was an awesome place and an awesome group of girls to hang out with.
The salon had chocolate-covered strawberries and mimosas for everybody:
The flower girl fell asleep watching Steel Magnolias:
There was some beautiful light coming in to the salon. I didn't even have to get my flash out once.
You could tell the flowergirl was excited to get her hair and make-up done and drink orange juice out of a fancy glass with all the girls:
Charlotte going over her speech:
A toast in the limo on the way to the wedding site:
The maid of honor looks out to see what's going on:
Charlotte really wanted to do the jumping shot - so we braved the intense heat and mean ants to get it:
Charlotte's much more interested in silly faces and fun pictures than anything serious:
Kenny gives the cool groom's cake a thumbs-up:
The guys braved the heat too (I can't even describe how hot it was):
Charlotte made her entrance on a horse-drawn carriage, surprising everyone:
This was in response to the part of Charlotte's vows that said "all that I have is yours:"
They got to ride in the carriage:
See - perfect for each other:
They had a fun first dance:
I couldn't pick just one ring shot for the blog, so you get to see two:
The kids really liked playing under the table:
And flying through the air (this one just makes me laugh):
A few shots from the party (no pun intended):
Charlotte and Kenny, we've had so much fun with you guys! Congratulations!!

Charlotte | bridal
At the beginning of Charlotte's bridal session, she told me she didn't want any "serious, sultry, unhappy" pictures - instead she wanted "huge happy smiles with lots of teeth." She's hilarious, and we had a ton of fun! Here are a few from the bridal session back in April - check back in a couple of days for wedding photos!

We had a Super Fun wedding yesterday with Charlotte and Kenny - here are a few pictures to hold you over until the full blog post later this week!
Kyndra + Doug | wedding
Kyndra and Doug are one of those couples that we really felt we connected with, and their friends and families were all so warm and inviting, that we felt like we were a part of the day. The wedding was beautiful and touching and fun. Kyndra didn't want a lot of altar shots (which was fine with us!) so we got to take a lot of the group pictures outside and in the church lobby. At the reception they really made it a point to try to talk to all their guests (no small feat with 300 guests), and we could tell it was important to them. It was such a wonderful group of people and an awesome day.

Kyndra | bridal
Since the wedding was tonight, we finally get to share the bridals! Kyndra was awesome - she was totally up for anything, including laying on the ground and jumping (with assistance) up on a high wall. If we hadn't eventually run out of light, I think we could have gone on for a few more hours; we had so much fun!

Amy + Collin | wedding
We had a wonderful day at Amy & Collin's wedding. It was our second time to shoot at the Wildwood Inn in Denton, which is a beautiful place to get married. It was our first time to have a wedding featuring a dog in a tux, which always makes things more fun! The day was very relaxed, and everyone had a great time. Even a little mishap with the wedding rings didn't ruin the mood! (They didn't quite make it to the ceremony, but everything carried on as planned, and they arrived in time for some pictures.)

Jenny + Chad | wedding reception
Jenny and Chad traveled to the Bahamas last month for a beautiful private wedding ceremony on the beach. They had a reception yesterday afternoon for family and friends at Cru Wine Bar in Plano. When guests first arrived they watched a slideshow of the ceremony, and we were able to take some cool pictures of Jenny & Chad around the Shops at Legacy.
They had really cool details:
Instead of one big cake, they had individual cakes:
Since we were in a wine bar, we just had to use corks for the ring shots:
Jenny and Chad, we wish you the best and we're so glad we've been able to meet you guys!

Stacey + Sean | wedding
Stacey was a bridesmaid in Kristen & Michael's wedding last summer, and we were excited when she called us to photograph hers! Stacey & Sean were married at Christ United Methodist Church in Plano with a fun-filled dancing-packed reception at the Los Rios Country Club. After the ceremony we got the formals done really fast, so we were able to get a lot of awesome shots of the 2 of them - and to add to the awesomeness, the sky was amazing. Then it was off to the party!
Stacey's dad sees her all dressed up:
Can't you just hear them all going "aww..."
Sean watches Stacey come down the aisle:
I didn't even tell them to kiss each other; they're just that sweet:
We took some pictures on the golf course when we got to Los Rios:
And the sky was amazing:
The whole wedding party joined us for a few shots:
Stacey's sister giving a toast:
And then the party started:

Sarah + Ryan
I decided I wanted some extra practice after the workshops I took, so I could keep everything fresh on my mind. Our friends Sarah and Ryan graciously agreed to help us out, and we went to Haggard Park and downtown Plano around sunset to take pictures. Sarah & Ryan, thanks again for helping us out!

Jenna + Steve | wedding
We've really enjoyed getting to know Jenna and Steve, and we've been looking forward to their wedding! They had planned an outdoor ceremony at Fossil Creek Country Club, but the weather had different plans. So instead they were married inside the country club, but it was still beautiful with a huge window and a view of the grounds. They're both wonderful people, and so obviously in love; it was so sweet to witness their marriage. And they had a great party to celebrate!
I had to include a picture of their dogs, George and Penelope:
Jenna specifically requested this shot, and I love the way it turned out:
A close-up of her beautiful dress:
The adorable flower girls checking themselves out in the mirror:
Too cute:
The ringbearers stayed entertained and were always up for more pictures:
Luckily the rain let up so we were able to get some pictures outside:
They changed into Converse for the reception:
For their first dance, Jenna and Steve planned a surprise choreographed dance - the audience totally loved it:
Reception details:
I had lots of fun with the rings!
They packed fun little bags for the kids, and these cool glow things were in there:
They had a photobooth where the guests could take pictures:
And they planned a big group shot with all the guests - here's what Darek got shooting from the side:
Steve wanted us to get a shot of the rings with the Converse, which we gladly did:

Lighting Workshop
I spent last weekend at a fun workshop, learning cool stuff about dramatic lighting. The workshop was put on by TriCoast Photography from Houston, and it was at the old flour mill in McKinney, which was an amazing location! Here are a few of the shots I got throughout the weekend:

We first met Jenny last Summer when she contacted us to do engagement pictures for her and Chad, and we were excited when she contacted us again to do her bridal pictures! Jenny and Chad traveled to the Bahamas this weekend to have a ceremony on the beach - how awesome is that?! We went down to the canals for her bridals, and she had such a fun and unique dress, it was the perfect location. She even brought her adorable dog Bruno for a few shots. We'll be shooting Jenny & Chad's at-home reception in a few weeks, so be on the lookout for those pictures!

Amanda + Matt | wedding
Amanda and Matt planned an outdoor Arboretum wedding for the end of March, when the weather is supposed to be nice. Unfortunately, in true Texas-style, the weather took a turn the day before and threatened to move the whole thing inside. Though I could tell Amanda was disappointed at the prospect, she handled it gracefully. On the day of the wedding, the ceremony was decided to still happen outside, and despite the clouds and cold winds, the day was absolutely beautiful.
The Arboretum was in full bloom and looking its best for the occasion:
The flowers they chose matched the season and garden-setting perfectly:
I am in love with Amanda's dress:
It's a tough category, but I think she is in the running for the Most Adorable Flowergirl Ever:
Amanda was all smiles:
The guys got to go outside and brave the weather for a few shots:
The ceremony was absolutely beautiful:
The sun came out just as the ceremony was ending, and here they are walking off into the sunset:
We took advantage of the sunset for a few quick minutes:
A few reception details:
First dance:
Amanda and Matt, we were so honored to photograph your wedding - hope the Bahamas were amazing!

Anne + AJ | engagement
Anne & AJ picked a spot for their engagement pictures we hadn't been to yet - Southlake Town Square - and it was so much fun! Anne's smile was contagious, and they were both so cute together they kept me laughing. We're super excited for the wedding in June!

Jaime + Mike | engagement
We had an awesome opportunity to take engagement pictures in Seattle for Jaime and Mike. The weather wasn't very cooperative, so we spent a lot of our time indoors at the Central Seattle Public Library - which, by the way, is amazing! Jaime and Mike were both troopers; toward the end of the session everybody was frozen, but they were great. We're going back to Seattle in September for their wedding, and we already know it's going to be awesome - we can't wait!

Jerry Ghionis Workshop
I spent all of last week at a workshop with Jerry Ghionis, who has been rated as one of the top 10 wedding photographers in the world. It was a rare opportunity to study under such an accomplished photographer, who came all the way to Dallas from Australia. The workshop was held at the gorgeous Hotel ZaZa in Uptown. It was quite an amazing experience - I learned A LOT and can't wait to start implementing all the things I learned!
Here are a few of my pictures from the week:
The rest of these pictures were all set up as examples, so I can't claim the posing as my own, but it should give you an idea of some of the things we learned:

Nikki + Will | wedding
We had our first wedding of 2009 last weekend! Nikki and Will had an elegant wedding at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church with unexpectedly gorgeous February weather. Shortly after arriving at the church to put on the dress, Nikki realized that the veil was still at the hotel - but I was so impressed with how calmly she handled it, and the veil showed up just in time for pictures, and everything else went smoothly for the rest of the day!
Nikki & Will's adorable nephew Landon:
Seeing each other for the first time of the day:
The reception was at City Club downtown and the decorations were perfect:
First dance:
The DJ played an acoustic set during dinner:
Playing the Newlywed Game:
The party stayed strong all night:
This kid was just too cute sleeping through the whole thing:
Last dance:
Birdseed exit!
Nikki and Will, congratulations! We hope you're having a wonderful trip!
