Anne & AJ picked a spot for their engagement pictures we hadn't been to yet - Southlake Town Square - and it was so much fun! Anne's smile was contagious, and they were both so cute together they kept me laughing. We're super excited for the wedding in June!

Amanda + Matt | sneak preview

Here are a couple of quick sneak previews of Amanda and Matt's beautiful Arboretum wedding last night! These were taken just right after the ceremony as the sun suddenly broke through the clouds into a beautiful sunset.

Jaime + Mike | engagement

We had an awesome opportunity to take engagement pictures in Seattle for Jaime and Mike. The weather wasn't very cooperative, so we spent a lot of our time indoors at the Central Seattle Public Library - which, by the way, is amazing! Jaime and Mike were both troopers; toward the end of the session everybody was frozen, but they were great. We're going back to Seattle in September for their wedding, and we already know it's going to be awesome - we can't wait!

Jerry Ghionis Workshop

I spent all of last week at a workshop with Jerry Ghionis, who has been rated as one of the top 10 wedding photographers in the world. It was a rare opportunity to study under such an accomplished photographer, who came all the way to Dallas from Australia. The workshop was held at the gorgeous Hotel ZaZa in Uptown. It was quite an amazing experience - I learned A LOT and can't wait to start implementing all the things I learned!
